Terms of use

This English version is a convenience translation. Only the German version is legally binding.

1. Scope and provider

These terms apply to the use of VerifyPips (https://verifypips.com), operated by [Name / Firma des Betreibers] (see legal notice).

2. Service

Using the investor password provided by the user (read-only access), VerifyPips reads trading data from MetaTrader 4/5 accounts and presents statistics based on it. No orders can be executed through the service. There is no entitlement to permanent availability, to a particular synchronisation frequency or to support for particular brokers.

3. User obligations

  • You only connect accounts you are authorised to use and only provide the investor password – never the master password.
  • Account names of public profiles must not infringe third-party rights, must not be misleading and must not advertise unauthorised financial services.
  • Automated mass queries and attempts to circumvent protection mechanisms are prohibited.

4. No investment advice

All content, in particular public profiles and rankings, is for information purposes only. It does not constitute investment advice, financial analysis or a recommendation. Trading foreign exchange and CFDs carries a high risk of loss.

5. Accuracy of data

The statistics are calculated from the data supplied by the broker using the method described on the "Methodology" page. We do not check this data for content and give no warranty for its completeness or correctness.

6. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health. In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise liability is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

7. Term and termination

You can have your user account deleted at any time. We may block accounts or deactivate public profiles in the event of violations of these terms.

8. Changes

We may change these terms with effect for the future. We will inform you of material changes by e-mail; if you do not object within six weeks, they are deemed accepted. We will point out this consequence separately in the notification.

9. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of your habitual residence remain unaffected.
